Privacy Policy

Aethex Flow ("we," "us," "our") operates aethexflow.online, AethexFlow AI, and the tools and services available on the site. This policy explains what information is processed, where processing occurs, and the choices available to you.

What we collect

YouTube Channel Audit tool: when you run an audit, we send the channel URL/handle you enter to the YouTube Data API v3 to retrieve publicly available channel and video statistics. We do not ask for or store your YouTube login credentials, and we do not access private account data — only what YouTube already makes public for that channel.

Payments and licenses: paid products are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never receive or store card details. Where license keys are enabled, our server validates the submitted license with Lemon Squeezy and checks that it belongs to the expected Aethex Flow product/variant.

Contact form / email: if you email us or use the contact form, we keep that correspondence (name, email, message) to respond to you and for basic business record-keeping.

Analytics: we may use standard, privacy-respecting website analytics to understand traffic patterns. We do not sell visitor data to third parties.

Recent tool history: some tool pages can remember recently used public YouTube channel handles or video URLs in your own browser so you can reuse them quickly. This browser history is stored locally on that device and is not a YouTube login credential or private channel data.

Public-data tools: Video Performance Diagnosis, Channel Performance Intelligence and Channel Comparison use public YouTube API data. They do not request Google OAuth access and do not claim private YouTube Studio metrics.

Website Health Check: when you submit a public website URL, our Netlify function requests that public page plus standard public files such as robots.txt and sitemap.xml to inspect crawlable markup, selected response headers, accessibility basics, trust and conversion signals. The tool does not log in to the target site or attempt to access private content.

Domain & Email Trust Check: when you submit a domain, our server performs public DNS lookups (such as MX, SPF and DMARC) and a public HTTPS request. Results are diagnostic signals, not a guarantee of email deliverability or security.

Browser-local tools: the Social Media Image Resizer, Invoice & Quote Generator and Live Content Production Planner run in your browser. Images selected in the resizer are processed locally by that page and are not uploaded to Aethex Flow by the tool. Invoice/planner drafts may be stored in your browser using local storage where the page states this.

AethexFlow AI

AI messages and attachments: when you use AethexFlow AI, the text and supported attachments you intentionally submit are sent through our server to one or more third-party AI providers selected server-side. Provider configuration is not exposed as a user-selectable setting. Some provider free tiers may use submitted content under their own terms or data-use settings. Aethex Flow does not represent AethexFlow AI as a self-hosted model.

Local chat state: normal AI chats and settings can be stored in your browser so the workspace can continue on that device. Temporary Chat is designed not to persist its conversation in Aethex Flow browser history. Clearing site data removes browser-local chat/settings state.

Browser, connectors, plugins and extensions: browser actions, external connectors, plugins and extension bridges are permission-gated features. They are not silently granted access to external accounts or pages. A feature that has not been configured should be shown as unavailable rather than treated as connected.

Sensitive-content guard: obvious passwords, API keys and similar secret patterns are blocked from cloud routing by default. You may explicitly override the warning for a message, but you should avoid sending secrets to any AI service.

Voice input: browser voice input is optional and off by default. When enabled, speech recognition is provided by your browser or operating system and may involve that vendor's own processing. The Aethex Flow web app does not intentionally upload raw microphone audio to its server in the current implementation; the resulting transcript can be sent as a normal chat message.

AI checkout: the Lemon Squeezy checkout helper is loaded only when you open Access & Billing. Opening that view or checkout can disclose ordinary connection information such as IP address and browser headers to Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy.

Our access-minimization principle

We design Aethex Flow to request the least access necessary for a tool to work. Public-data tools do not require your YouTube password or broad account access. Where a supported tool can use a Studio CSV or screenshot supplied by you, the purpose is to analyze the specific information you selected rather than gain access to the underlying account.

How we use it

  • To run the tools you request and return their results to you
  • To validate a license key and unlock the paid report you purchased
  • To respond to support/contact requests
  • To maintain and secure the site (e.g. rate-limiting abuse)

Third parties we rely on

  • YouTube Data API v3 (Google) — to fetch public channel/video data. Use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and license key issuance. See Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting infrastructure providers — process ordinary connection and runtime data needed to deliver the site.
  • Third-party AI providers — receive the task text and supported attachments needed to answer an AI request when you explicitly use an AI action. Provider terms and data-use practices can differ, including on free tiers.

Data retention

Tool results are generated on demand. The current public-data checks do not intentionally create a user-profile database from submitted URLs/domains. Browser-local tools keep their stated drafts on the device. Contact-form messages and order-related records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, security and business records.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, or to delete correspondence we have on file, by emailing aethexflow@gmail.com.
