Data access, privacy and how Aethex Flow works.
Aethex Flow uses the minimum data required for each analysis. Public-data tools use public sources; supported deeper analysis can use a CSV or screenshot selected by the user.
Public-data analysis does not require account credentials.
Owner data is provided through specific supported files or screenshots when needed.
Information supplied for analysis is used for the requested tool or report.
What happens when you use a tool
The source is made clear before a result is presented.
Public data
For supported YouTube tools, Aethex Flow can use public channel/video data from the official YouTube Data API. This does not require access to the creator's private Studio account.
Owner-provided data
If a deeper tool supports Studio CSVs or screenshots, you choose the exact file to provide. The purpose is analysis of those supplied metrics—not access to the account they came from.
Calculated signals
Metrics such as public engagement, medians and view velocity are calculated from source values. Calculated values are not presented as official YouTube Studio metrics.
Unknown stays unknown
Private metrics such as CTR, impressions, retention or revenue are not fabricated when they have not been supplied by the owner or an authorized source.
What each data mode requires
Your password
Public-data analysis does not require it.
Your private account
We do not need broad account access when a public source, CSV or screenshot can answer the question.
Unrelated personal data
We only want information relevant to the tool or report you requested.
When you provide information yourself
Studio exports and screenshots: supported tools may allow you to select a CSV or screenshot from your own device for deeper analysis. The interface will state how that file is processed before upload/use. Aethex Flow does not use those files for unrelated profiling or advertising.
Recent tool history: some pages remember recently used public channel/video references in your browser for convenience. This is not a YouTube login and does not give Aethex Flow access to your account.
Privacy as a product requirement
Our product rule is simple: ask for the least access necessary to produce a useful result. If public data is enough, we use public data. If owner-only information improves accuracy, we prefer a specific file or screenshot supplied by you instead of broad account access.
